Help us save 10,000 lives a year
Heart failure is treatable
Almost 400,000 people in the UK have heart failure and do not know it, only finding out far too late when they become acutely unwell.
By detecting undetected heart failure, those, yet undiagnosed patients and intervene early, we can make the biggest difference to people’s lives and outcomes.
The 25in25 initiative aims to reduce the mortality from heart failure in the first year after diagnosis by 25% in the next 25 years.
As a charitable organisation, the British Society for Heart Failure is appreciative of all grants and donations that enable us to carry out our work, increasing knowledge and educating health professionals striving to provide the highest quality heart failure care.
Support our 25in25 Fast Track Communities initiative. Contribute to educating heart failure patients, caregivers, and the public, whilst making a direct positive change in local communities.
Andy Smith, British Society for Heart Failure (BSH) patient adviser who lives with heart failure said:
“Heart failure is hidden in plain sight. But it doesn’t define me and it is possible to live well with the condition”.
